Denis Chiasson draws his inspiration as much from characters in novels
as from everyday life and his love of nature. With a solid background in computer graphics, illustration and screen printing, he turned to
figurative painting about 20 years ago. His female subjects are striking in their interiority and the contemplation they evoke. This visual aesthetic and the introspection with which he infuses his subjects make Chiasson an exceptional artist, one to be discovered. |
