Sculptor
and painter Michele Stamp has travelled extensively, living
for extended periods in other cities and countries, but chooses
to live and work in St. John’s where she grew up. Her
work is inspired by the spiritual, by humanity, and her living
environment. Stamp’s work has appeared in group shows
in St. John’s and Halifax and her work has recieved awards
from the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts and Letters Committees.
She completed a Master’s Degree from the Nova Scotia College
of Art and Design in the summer of 2003. |
